(1) Within the Conservation Area, the Conservation Officer shall have the authority to prosecute and dispose of cases related to offenses under the Act and these Regulations.
(2) Without adversely affecting the generality of sub-rule (1), the right to prosecute and dispose of cases related to the following offenses will be vested in the Gazetted First Class Technical Ranger appointed by the Government of Nepal:-
(a) Entry into protected areas without permission,
(b) In the event of damage, cutting or removal of forest produce in an irregular manner up to five thousand rupees,
(c) In case of doing the prohibited acts mentioned in clauses (b), (c), (d), (e), (f), (g), (j) and (j) of rule 30.
